Day Old Otter Pup Falls Asleep On Its Floating Mothers Belly

This footage of a one-day-old baby otters sleeping on his mother’s belly was captured by photographer Connie Levenhagen. The two were spotted in a pool outside the Monterey Bay Aquarium, in California.

“This baby sea otter was born in the ‘Great Tide Pool’ at the Monterey Bay Aquarium on 12/20/15,” said a zoo employee. “Her mom is a wild, Californian sea otter that sought refuge in the pool to shield her against other animals and the stormy day.”

Photographer Captures Hungry Dogs Hilarious Expressions When They Catch Treats

Christian Vieler from Waltrop, Germany takes hilarious photos of dogs trying to catch food. The photographer aims to capture the many faces of doggies depicting such emotions as excitement, sadness or confusion.

“Every shoot I am looking for that specific moment when the dog is looking as cute or funny as they can be,” said Vieler. “That cannot be seen without the power of freezing motion – dog’s faces with magnificent lineaments, telling us stories of panic, desire and joy.” He told Bored Panda that he is inspired by “every dog-personality and a good portion of humor.”

Vieler, 45, is a journalist and became interested in photography in 2012 with a purchase of a new camera. “My snapshots are not really a project, so you can say: everlasting and ongoing. I shoot a snapshot with every dog-guest in my studio. Some are pretty good, some not and a few are really gorgeous.”

Daughter Asks for Newborn Photoshoot For Her Stray Kitty, Mother Delivers

We’ve already seen this dog’s maternity and post-partum photo shoots, so it was only a matter of time for cats to step in. So here it is, the most purrfect newborn photo-shoot-inspired stray kitty’s photo series!

His mom Cassie Borcherding of Missouri, who is also a professional photographer, shot the kitty, named Elsa, after her daughter begged her to do a newborn photo shoot. The result is paw-sitively adorable! ” It wasn’t easy at first, but once i got her wrapped she purred the entire time,” Borcherding told Bored Panda. Sadly, the pictures are now rather bittersweet for the family.

They welcomed Elsa right from the streets to their loving home, having made sure that she has no owner. Sadly, the kitten has recently disappeared. But since Elsa was a stray, Borcherding hopes that she will find the way back to their home. “We hope she’s safe and being fed somewhere. And we hope she finds her way back to us.”

Woman Tells Her Sister NOT To Have A Puppy When She Has A Baby, But She Doesnt Listen

Back in 2007, one Imgur user told her sister NOT to get a puppy when she had a baby. What she didn’t know then was that the doggie and her niece would become BFFs…

Since the day the girl was born, the black Lab was always by her side. Occasionally, the doggie would eat the baby’s cookies , but other than that, their friendship was clearly budding.

As the girl grew a bit older, the two established a Sunday tradition to watch morning cartoons together. Whatever they were doing – sitting in a car, playing, or just chilling on the couch – they were inseparable. The adorable duo even walked to school together! “They’re pretty much the bestest friends ever and I’m eating my words.”

Years had passed, and as the girl grew, the doggie started to show clear signs of aging, such as getting a grey ‘beard’. Still, he was loved unconditionally. I mean, how can you not love a dog who agrees to dress as a princess just to please his friend?

This year, after 10 years of being together, the aging canine got some benign tumors removed – and while he’s laying there weak and recovering, the girl doesn’t leave his side. If this isn’t friendship, we don’t know what is.

This Potato Is Taking Instagram By Storm, And Its Photos Are Just Too Cute

Just when you thought Instagram had reached its maximum capacity for adorable puppies, Puffie the Chow came along. We’re not really sure if he’s a dog, a teddy bear, or a marshmallow, but he’s probably going to run away with your heart, and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Puffie was born in China on February 13th, 2017, but it wasn’t until early June that he arrived at his forever home in Malaysia as a birthday gift. His new mom fell in love with him at first sight, and immediately began sharing his daily adventures on Instagram – as well as the lengthy naps that always follow them, of course. His audience of now 42.8 thousand dotes on his every pounce, and he hasn’t even been here for a year yet.

Chow Chows are known for more than just their excessive, luscious fur and dark blue tongues. They have unique spirits, and are famously stubborn when it comes to training, change, and dealing with people they don’t know. Though they can also be lazy, shy, and overly attached to their owners, for the lucky owners of this ancient Chinese breed, it’s all part of the Chow Chow charm.
